Born in 1977, I was a child of the ’80’s and a teen of the ’90’s – I have had an artistic gene since I was young. My mother still has the schematics I designed where I seriously considered having a doctor turn me into a motorcycle – Transformers were awesome.

Raised in the Southern States of America mostly in rural settings, I have enjoyed working through the millennium transition and the ever present changing landscape of design and function.

Following the final years of newspapers and over-the-air television reigning dominance, I enjoyed seeing the weekly adverts showing off the most extreme computers of the day! And I recall the words from my computer class teacher (who was the full-time librarian because computers were not really a thing) as he held a cable line in his hand saying, “Someday all of our communications will come through one line into your house…”

Time is key for gathering knowledge on how to implement a design. I have built a career with time-tested processes demonstrating success.

Item No. 01

Lifelong passion

The Arts have been a guiding light for a major portion of my life. From childhood to the genesis of my career, I have held the desire to create deeply.

Item No. 02

Education

I consider myself a life-long student. As technology evolves and our methods of communication change, I desire to learn the new processes and procedures, along with how we as society seek to communicate.

Item No. 03

Design

The spark of creativity can be found in almost any situation, in any corner of a thought. Creativity must have room to expand and never be confined in redundancy.

Item No. 04

Sparks of Life

When the road ahead for any project is but a blank canvas, the motivation to explore new concepts is a major thrill! And when inspiration hits, when the “A HA!” moment arrives, it is always an electrifying moment.

Oh yeah – I have some personal projects as well

When you have a passion, it does not conclude at the end of the work day. In my free time, I continue with numerous family-themed and pro-bono work as well! Here are a couple of examples. One is from my family show called “Lawsons on Purpose” – where we live life “on purpose”. This is a video series that is mainly created for my family as we grow together and live life with one another. The other video is a re-cap video from a camping trip for American Heritage Girls and Trail Life.
